Mid-Town Wanderance

Today I went for a wanderance through midtown Manhattan and took some random pictures. It was a great day for a walk with slightly overcast skies with a temperature around 13 degrees celcius. True it could have been warmer, but with a jacket on it is quite nice.

Times Square on a Sunday afternoon.

St. Patrick's Cathedral on 5th Avenue. A beautiful church!

St. Patrick's Cathedral from accross the street. The statue, in the foreground, on the opposite side of the street of the Cathedral, provides an interesting picture. Now if only the lighting was right. Argh!

A trip to the Brooklyn Museum

The first Saturday of every month at the Brooklyn Museum has free admission for all visitors. Thus, I set off to visit a museum that I have never visited before. My roomate and I looked around three of the five floors and plan to return in the future. Overall, as a transplanted person from the Toronto area of Canada, I thought the Brooklyn Museum was comparable to the Royal Ontario Museum in collection with the exception that the Brooklyn Museum doesn't have dinasaur bones (those can be found at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhatten)

So I am a Dumb Ass...

So I am a dumb ass again and didn't send my mother, YET, a Mother's Day gift despite my roomate reminding me last week on vacation. K...so I will add that to the list of many things I didn't get done during my weeks vacation.

So I now have the present and will be mailing it off today. She should get it, according to the posties, 4-6 weeks.

Did the same thing for my Dad's birthday present, yet he got his present in a week and half. What ever happenned to 4-6 weeks? A well.

Google Adsense and Other Renovations

Michael Suddard's Homepage - Michael's Blog

Yup added a little google adsense to this here blog. Why? Cause I might as well make some chaching off of it since there are now about 21 people on average a day checking out this here place.

Now if only I could move the heading and the rest of the page up slightly so the ads don't look so out of place. Hmmmm.....

Still working on it. It has taken me an hour but I am still working on it...

Otherwise you will notice I have change the colour scheme of dis here place. Yup, I decided to renovate and give this place a new look after a year of blue and white. Hope you like it. Some fine tuning will be coming to this here blog. So STAY TUNED!

Vacation week over...

What a week...

I have just finished a week of vacation. I have cleaned the apartment inside and an out, done some lesson planning (not as much as I wanted to...but nonetheless), been to two major league ball games and visited David Letterman.

Now it is back to work for the daily grind. Good thing there is only 8 weeks left of school.

I am looking forward to a summer vacation as well as two university courses hopefully to be completed if all goes well.
