Mexican Rice Dish

1lb (450g) Ground Beef
1bsp (15 mL) Chili Powder
1 Cup (250 mL) Salsa
1 Cup (250 mL) Water
Several drops Hot Sauce
1 1/2 cups (375 g) Frozen Corn
2 cups (500 mL) instant white rice
1 cup (250 mL) shredded cheese
 
1. In medium skillet, brown beef and chili over medium-high heat until cooked through.
 
2. Add salsa, water, corn and sauce. Bring to boil.
 
3. Stir in rice; cover.
 
4. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 5 minutes.
 
5. Remove from heat, top with cheese
 
6. Cover and let stand 5 minutes
 
Serves 4-6
