Mediterranean Burgers

1/2 lb (250g) lean ground pork
1/2 lb (250g) lean ground beef
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsp (25 ml) pine nuts, finely chopped
8 sund-dried tomatoes, chopped
Black pepper to taste
4 hamburger buns
 
Garnish:
4 cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced
slad greens of your choice
 
1. Mix ground pork and beef with garlic cloves, pine nuts, sun-dried tomatoes and basil.  Season with black pepper.  Divide mixture into four and shape into burgers.
 
2. Broil or barbecue 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.  Put patties onto buns along with some greens and sliced tomatoes, then serve with salad.
