Mr. Wolf

 

 

The children line up along one side of the room.  One child is selected to be the “wolf”.  The wolf goes to the other side of the room and has his/her back to the group on the other side of the room. 

 

The games starts when the group asks “what time is it Mr. Wolf?” 

 

The “wolf” responds with a time like “two o’clock”.  The group advances the same number of steps for each hour (i.e. two steps for two o’clock).   

 

This process is repeated until the wolf thinks the group is close enough to him/her and the wolf, instead of giving a time to the group’s time request, says “lunch time”.   The wolf then chases the group back to the other side of the room trying to catch someone.   The person caught is the wolf for the next round.

 

Try and make sure everyone gets a turn if possible.
