Five Green and Speckled Frogs

 

 

Five green and speckled frogs.

Sat on a speckled log

Eating some most delicious bugs (yum, yum!)

One jumped in the pool

Where it was nice and cool

Now there are four green speckled frogs.

Glub Glub

 

(Have the children sitting in a circle.  Select five children to be frogs and have them hop around like frogs on the inside of the circle [or designated area].  Sing the song as above.  As the “frogs jump into the pool” have one child hop out of the circle by replacing the word “one” with the selected child’s name.  Repeat until there are no frogs left).
