I was born in
an igloo in the frozen wasteland called Canada. There was no doctor because his ten husky dogsled
got stuck in a ten foot snow drift in Toronto and had to call in the military! The temperature
was minus forty degrees (that is Celsius people! You know what REAL people
use to gauge the temperature).
Now that I have scared off all the Americans, I can tell my real life story
which tends to be a bit boring.
I was born at Newmarket's
York County
Hospital (now called "Southlake
Regional Health Centre"...not my idea to rename the place...the name
had been in existence and worked well for over fifty years...must be some
bureaucrat's idea…).
I graduated from elementary school from Regency
Acres Public School. I eventually graduated from The Dr.
G.W. Williams Secondary School with my Ontario Secondary School Diploma,
my Honours Student Award, and The Aurora & District Historical Society
for Excellence in the Study of Canadian History in 1998.
I graduated from the University
of Ottawa with my BA in History (did I mention with honours?) and from York University with a
B.Ed.
I finished a
year teaching for the New York City Department of Education.
I am currently
an Office Manager at the Canadian head office of a major merchandising
company.
More about me and
my interests can be found at my Blogger
